About Us
We recommend that you do a breast self exam using the following methods at least monthly:

IN THE SHOWER
Fingers flat, move gently over every part of each breast. Use your right hand to examine left breast, left hand for right breast.

STANDING IN FRONT OF A MIRROR
Inspect your breasts with arms at your sides, again with your hands on your waist, and next with your arms raised high over your head. Look for any changes in each breast, in contour, dimpling or changes in the nipple and surrounding area, swelling or redness. Next, rest your hands on your hips and press firmly so that you flex your chest muscles. Please note that your left and right breasts will not exactly match - this is normal as not very many women's breasts do match exactly.

LYING DOWN
Position a pillow under your left or right shoulder with the other arm behind your head. Place your fingers on your breast so that they are flat, press the breast gently in small circular motions, moving vertically or in a circular pattern covering the entire breast, without lifting your fingers as you move around the breast. It is recommended that you use light, medium and firm pressure. Next, gently squeeze the nipple. Look for any discharge and lumps. Repeat these steps for the breast.
